Stella Kaminski (Iciek), age 100, passed away February 22, 2016. Her parents were Tom and Helen of Dorr, MI. She is survived by her daughter, Barb (Les) Albert, grandchildren, Jeff, Tim (Lauren), and Lesley, great grandchild, Ben, and sister, Josephine Sullivan, and many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her husband Stanley, daughter, Marie Poquette, son, Don, and sister, Adeline Cholewin. Stella was a wonderful homemaker, and spent endless hours gardening. She was involved, and a charter member, at St. Mary Magdalene Church. The family will meet with friends on Thursday, February 25th at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave. SE, from 3:00 to 7:00 PM, with a Rosary at 7:00 PM. A Mass of Christian Burial will be held on Friday, February 26th at St. Mary Magdalen Catholic Church, 1213 52nd St. SE at 11:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, please donate in Stella's honor to the Ashes to Living Stones fund at St. Mary Magdalen.
