Starr Lynn Godwin (Gilland), of Riverdale, age 60, passed away Wednesday, April 19, 2023 unexpectedly.  Starr was one of three children.  She worked in schools and as an office manager for many years.  She enjoyed dancing, gardening, the views of wildlife on her lake, reading, and spending time with her grandchildren and family.

Starr is survived by her beloved husband Timothy Godwin; children Antashia (Mike) Briggs, and Adam (Tarra) Gilland; Her parents Arlene and Chuck Race; Sisters Debbie (Doug) Morrall, and Alana (Chris) Day; grandchildren Liam, Gavin, and Charles.  She is also survived by two step children Kira (Jay) Ellis, and Dylan Schmidt.  She is preceded in death by her biological father Karl (Jan) Thompson, as well as grandparents.
