Shirley Bassett, age 91, went to be with her Lord on September 12, 2020. Shirley was a devoted and loving daughter, sister, wife, mother, grandmother, great-grandmother, aunt and friend. She was preceded in death by her husband of 66 years, Douglas Bassett, Mother Jennie Nye and Brother Doyle Nye. She will be lovingly missed by her children Cindie (Greg) Nelson, Julie (John) Wilterink, 5 grandchildren and 10 great-grandchildren. Shirley was from Manton, MI and was so very proud of her home town. A private family Memorial will be held.
