With heavy hearts, we announce that Sheryl Bourdon went to be with the Lord on October 2nd, 2024. She passed away after a long-time battle with cancer at the age of 61, surrounded by family and loved ones at her home. She was preceded in death by her father, Kerwin Rinks. She is survived by her husband, Larry; mother, Shirley; children, Chad, Jeffrey, Phillip, Eric; grandchildren, Natalie, Jacob, Lilith, Jeremiah, Leif, Hendrik; sisters, Christine, Valarie, Connie; three nephews and one niece. Sheryl was born in Grand Rapids, Michigan and she lived out her life in Wyoming, Michigan and the surrounding areas where she was a graduate of Lee High School. She worked for a company that made circuit boards for the government. Later, she worked for the local school district as a custodian before she became a stay-at-home wife. She enjoyed simple things in life, especially when it came to the grandchildren, they gave her the strength she needed to keep fighting. She loved attending her church and had strong faith in God. Her memory and spirit live on, and she will be deeply missed.
