Sherwyn Dale Clarke of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 75, passed away on Saturday, June 26, 2021. He is survived by his wife of almost 49 years, Susan (VanHouten); his children Sherwyn Jr. (Lisa) Clarke, John (Lisa) Clarke, Michelle Clarke, Autumn VanderMolen, Christopher (Kassandra) Clarke; his grandchildren, Kaley Koewers, Brianna Clarke, Molly Clarke, Ryne Clarke, Zachary Clarke, Drew, Joshua, and Nicolas VanderMolen, Hailey Clarke; and five great-grandchildren; sisters Lori (Rick) Greenleaf and Kathy Hollemans; sister-in-law Sandy Clarke; niece Sherri (James) Nichols; and lifelong friends Ron and Deb Krause, and Ray Attema.

Sherwyn was a constant supporter of family, friends and a strong believer in doing anything you can for anyone. That belief has been passed down to his children and grandchildren. What a legacy he has!!!

There will be a time of visitation from 6:00 until 8:00 p.m. on Wednesday, June 30, 2021, at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Avenue SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. A Celebration of Life service will be officiated by Pastor Sean Kidd at 2:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 1, 2021 at Ofield Funeral Home. There will also be a visitation one hour prior to the service.
