Sheri Kay Spahr of Battle Creek, MI. went to be with the Lord, and her Savior on July 24, 2025. She was born August 4, 1960 in Madison, Wisconsin at St. Mary's Hospital. She moved to Montana with her family at age 9. She married the love of her life Anthony Walter Spahr on March 12, 1984 in Billings, Montana. They Moved to Michigan after getting married. They renewed their vows in the Catholic Church on August 25, 2024. She worked a waitress a good portion of her life she was one of the best waitresses around she treated everyone as a friend that she had known forever, she would remember your last order forever and ask if you would want your usual. She found her true calling in caring for the sick and elderly. She worked as a patient safety assistant at Bronson in Battle Creek while going to Kellogg Community College to get her associate in Human services her specialty was the elderly, she went on to get her CNA. She graduated from both programs with high honors. She loved the Catholic Church and GOD having a beautiful faith. She had many interest in life; gardening, she was a master gardener, loved camping, fishing, food, Hapkido, antiques, games, helping people, her family, being with people, and just talking. If you met Sheri she was your friend for life and she would help you with any problem in your life. She loved helping people, and changed many people's lives by her love. She was the heart and soul of her family. She had two children Anthony W. Spahr II, and Daniel R. Spahr. She also raised her grandson Saul Anthony Spahr for 8 years who she treated as her own son. Saul called her Mom. She died at home of metastatic cancer of the larynx after a long and courageous battle, she fought the good fight. She had beat thoracic cancer 15 years earlier but lost her voice box in the process. She will be missed greatly by all. She was preceded in death by her sister Lisa Marie Newsome, her brother Robert Allen Phillips, her mother Lee Phillips, and father Robert Ervin Phillips. The date for her funeral will be August 8, 2025 At St. Joseph's church in Battle Creek, MI. There will be a 9:30 Rosary, followed by funeral mass at 10:00-11:00am followed by a luncheon till 1:15, and burial at 2:00 pm at Floral Lawn in Battle Creek, Michigan
