Sheree Lee Emmons, affectionately known as Spooky Bear and Stagger Lee, passed away on February 10, 2026, in Kalamazoo, Michigan, at the age of 67. Born on March 4, 1958, in the same city, Sheree was a cherished member of her family.

Sheree was a creative soul who found joy in cross stitching and crocheting. Her love for music was evident in her passion for singing, which she shared with those around her. She was deeply spiritual, holding strong beliefs in the Holy Spirit and the resurrection of Jesus Christ. Throughout her life, Sheree attended various Pentecostal churches, where she found solace and community.

Sheree was known for her kind and empathetic nature. She had a special connection with animals, especially cats, and was always ready to help those in need. Her laughter was contagious and boisterous, often signaling her arrival in a room. People from all walks of life felt comfortable with her, drawn in by her warm and welcoming demeanor.

Sheree is survived by her mother, Sandra Emmons; her brother, Gene Emmons and his wife Vicky; her sister Rhonda VanDyke and her husband Tim; and her son Shane Emmons and his wife Jessica. She also leaves behind a grandson, Chase Emmons, and a granddaughter, Paige Emmons. Additionally, her uncle Richard Evans and several cousins will remember her fondly.

Sheree was predeceased by her father, Gene A. Emmons Sr., her paternal grandparents Chester and Jennie Emmons, and her maternal grandparents Ivan and Louise Evans. She also lost several uncles and aunts who were an integral part of her early life.

Refreshments will be served. A quick gathering at the Schoolcraft Township Cemetery in Vicksburg, Mi. will be held at 1:00 p.m. on 05/01/2026.
