Our beloved Shay Lynn Arnold, age 53, of Grand Rapids, passed away peacefully in the comfort of his home on Tuesday, October 4, 2022.

The family would like to thank Ansis Bandenieks and Promedica Hospice for their love, care and support. Shay was preceded in death by his birth father, Lynn Barnowski, and his grandmother, Elinor Lucchesi (Grandma K).

He is survived by his loving partner, Debi Szabo, his mother, Linda Bischoff, his dad Cal Arnold, sister, Angel Corlin, brothers, Jay and Shon Arnold, uncle, Mark (Malita) Barnowski, nephews, Dakota Harig, Kase (Carissa) Harig, nieces, Charlotte Arnold, Jaylyn Arman, Debi's son, Ansis Bandenieks and his daughters, Kiera, Calla, and Kaia, along with many more close family and friends.

Shay was a successful owner and operator of Arnold Concrete. He was a jack of all trades and enjoyed fishing, camping, cooking, and going for long drives by the river. Most of all, he loved his fur babies. Those who knew Shay, even just a little, lost a shining light in their lives. He had a smile that lit up the town, an amazing sense of humor, and always had a good story to tell.

A graveside memorial will be held at the Dutton Cemetery for close family and friends. Service Details.
