Sharron Suzanne Jackson graciously departed from this life into the loving arms of our Savior on December 22, 2024. Sharon was born on April 26, 1953 to the union of Melvin Leon and Jacquelyn Elaine Jones of Detroit, Michigan. After the Detroit riots, the family moved to Grand Rapids, Michigan. As a teen, Sharron completed her education at Ottawa Hills High School and went on to attend Calvin (College) University. Sharron met and married the love of her life, Allen Lee Jackson in 1979. Sharron was a devoted wife and mother who is very proud of her family. Sharron loved to garden. She also had a lifelong passion for reading. Her walls and halls were lined with books. She had a diverse collection of books covering a wife range of topics, she treasured her books as well as her pets. Her most exotic animal was her ferret, Chips.

Sharron worked for General Motors, Miller, Metal, and later settled into employment with Grand Rapids Public Schools and retired after 30 years.

Sharron lived a full life despite her recent health challenges. Sharron had a zest for life and a love for God and family.

Sharron is proceeded in death by her father, Melvin Leon Jones of Detroit, Michigan; mother, Jacquelyn Elaine Harris; stepfather, William Leroy Harris; grandparents, Reverend James and Mrs. Josephine Garel; brother Harrison P. Tett; and mother-in-law, Amie Bates.

Sharron leaves to cherish a lifetime of memories, a loving loyal husband, Allen Lee Jackson; daughter, Dawn Minette Jones, Son Tori Lavar Jackson & his family; granddaughter Tiffany Shurrii Jones, grandson, Ezekiel Reid Jackson; great granddaughter Mia Marie Herron; and a host of nephews, nieces, relatives, and friends. Sharron will be greatly missed by all.
