Sharon, or as she preferred, Sha' passed away peacefully the morning of October 12, 2017 at home in the company of her husband of 37 years, Dale J. (Ogie) Dreyer. Sha` was an excellent chef and worked as a line cook, chef, and sous chef for Gibson's, Pietro's, Grand Rapids Brewing Company, Jose' Babushka's, and head chef of a restaurant owned by Dawn Galafaro called Chardonnay. While living in Salt Lake City she became the executive sous chef of the Salt Lake Hilton, and pastry chef at The Millcreek Inn! Her love of life was magnified by her love of gardening, camping, and cooking. She loved her family and tried to be the bond that held them all together! She shared her husband's love of music and she even became technically savvy, against her will, through osmosis. Sha` loved with all her heart, and even though she fought through bi-polar issues, she could melt you with her smile and those eyes… Leaving behind her loving sisters, Mary, Sue, and Annie, her brothers Ed and Jeff and a slew of loving nieces and nephews, cousins and of course friends all over the world thanks to World of Warcraft! She will be missed every single moment! Thank you, everyone, for your support and kind words after the loss of my loving partner of 38 years, Sha` (Sharon K. Dreyer). It was a long haul and she was a rock the whole time. Never fearful until near the end. She got to see and make amends with her entire family! We will be holding a party to celebrate her life on October 28 from 12 Noon to 6 PM(?) at our park community center here in Cedar Springs! I would like this to be casual. Bring a dish to pass, munchies or whatever. BYO beverages. Come early or late, stay a minute or hours. We invite anyone who knew and loved Sha` to come enjoy the companionship of loved ones and friends, share a few stories and play some live music. Acoustic instruments and your attendance are welcome!
