Scott Cameron Womack, age 61, of Battle Creek, MI left us peacefully on Nov. 6th 2022. He was surrounded by loved ones after suffering a cardiac arrest.

Scott was born on December 17th, 1960 in Battle Creek, MI to Charles Clark Womack and Kathleen Ellen (Abbott) Womack.

He is preceded in death by his mother, Kathleen Ellen Womack (Abbott) and his father, Charles Clark Womack.

He has left behind his son, Cameron Anthony Womack of Battle Creek, his girlfriend of 20 years, Gereldine Featherly of Battle Creek and her two daughters, Haylie and Michelle, his brother Charles Tracy Womack (Tina) of Frankenmuth, his sister Shannon Dawn Womack of Battle Creek. Scott was also blessed with two grandchildren and 8 nieces and nephews.

Scott was a 1979 graduate of Gull Lake High School in Richland, MI and followed that up by attending mechanics school in Lima, OH where he became a master mechanic. For years he had worked at Battle Creek Gravel and then years at Dock Master in Richland, MI. He retired in August of 2016.

Scott had a very big heart and would help anyone that needed it. He loved being outside and spending time on his parent's thoroughbred farm whenever he could. He enjoyed spending time with family, especially his grandchildren. Throughout his life he maintained his childhood playfulness. He would be the first one to get down on the floor and jump in with the family kids to play whatever game they had started. The kids loved being around him as he was always ready to go on the next adventure.

We will be holding a Celebration of Life at the Overflow Church at 3515 West Michigan Ave., Battle Creek, MI on December 17th at 11:00am. The celebration is being held on what would have been his 62nd birthday.
