IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Scott Lincoln
Meyer
September 27, 1968 – December 10, 2014
December 10, 2014 Service: February 7, 2015 Scott Lincoln Meyer, 9/27/1968 - 12/10/2014, died by his own hand following a lifetime of combating Aspergers Syndrome (a high form of autism characterized by difficulty understanding social interactions) and depression. Scott was a designer, a machinist, a tool and die maker, a computer geek, a pen maker, an artist, and an Akita dog lover. More importantly, he was a friend, a brother, and a son. Due to Aspergers, Scott felt isolated and lonely. However, he had many friends that knew and loved him, but he never fully realized it. He had a generous heart, a kind soul, a brilliant mind, and a wicked sense of humor. He leaves behind to mourn his loss his parents, Glory and Roger Meyer, brother Craig, and numerous aunts, uncles, cousins, and friends. A celebration of his life will be held at Ofield Funeral Home on Saturday, February 7th; visitation at 12:00, memorial service at 1:00. In lieu of flowers the family requests donations be made to: American Foundation for Suicide Prevention 120 Wall Street, 29th Floor New York, NY 10005
