Scott Michael Gildner 40, joined his loving mother in heaven, on Wednesday Sept. 15, 2021. Scott was born Sept. 4 1981 to Darryl Gildner and Carole (Beckley) Gildner. He lived in the Grand Rapids area most of his life. Scott was a father, son, brother, uncle and friend to many.

He was Preceded in death by his Mother Carole and Grandparents Paul and Ruth Gildner. He is survived by his Father Darryll Gildner of Cadillac, MI, sisters Kim Lonero of West Covina, CA, Angie Lonero of Grand Rapids,MI, Laura (Glenn) Dillon of Cadillac, MI, Gina (Chad) Denhof of Comstock Park, MI, Tammy, Cheryl and Kristina and his brothers Shane and Shawn, along with many nieces, nephews, Aunts, Uncles, cousins and friends.

Scott loved his family and friends and always made sure they knew that through his letters and generosity. He would give you his last dollar if he thought it would help. He was a Mama's boy through and through and looked forward to being reunited with her in heaven when God called him home.

Scott could be described as a selfless man. A man always willing to help anyone in any way he could. A man that would take the shirt off his back in the middle of a snow storm for a total stranger. A man that would give you his last dollar if he thought it would help. A man of very little, but always willing to share all he had, with those he loved. May he rest in the eternal peace he tried so hard to find.

In lieu of flowers, contributions may be made to Simply Cremations Funeral Services, for his family to use for a celebration of life at a later date.
