Sandra Lee Praught, 76, of Paw Paw, Michigan, died peacefully at home with family by her bedside on August 16th, 2023. Sandy was born to Lee W. and Glenadine Devens on March 10th, 1947, in Palo Alto, California. She was raised in Anaheim and Tustin, California, where she worked in her parents' donut shop. She graduated from Tustin High School in 1965. Sandy found great joy and fulfillment, being a member of Stadium Vineyard Church and volunteering at Joseph Storehouse, the church's food pantry for many years. She moved to Michigan in 2001, where she eventually became a member of All-Saints Celtic Episcopal Church. One of Sandy's greatest joys was her visits to England to see her son and grandchildren. Sandy enjoyed researching genealogy and met many distant relatives. In retirement, she also enjoyed living on a farm and holding baby chicks, just born lambs, and visiting her grandfoal, Summer. Sandy loved playing cards with her great grandson and watching her great granddaughter play. Sandy was predeceased by her parents. Lee W. and Glenadine Devens, brother Lee E. Devens(and sister-in-law Alice), brother Kay E. Jacobs, grandson, Christopher Ivers, and her cat Lucy. She is survived by her children, Daniel Praught, Deborah (Gordon) Ridenour, Janet (Jeff) Hauck, and cat Wednesday. Grandchildren Francesca Smith, Cassandra Ivers, Ciaran Praught and Valentina Rosa Praught, 3 great-grandchildren, nieces, nephews, and all her distant relatives she loves.

There will be a memorial service on November 5th, allowing family out of country to attend. Time and place are to be determined.
