Sally Kok of Kentwood, Michigan, age 89, joined her husband Harold on Sunday, August 2, 2020.

She was also preceded by her parents Melvin and Mabel Witzel; her younger sister Nancy Smith; and son-in-law Shawn Lautner.

Sally leaves behind her sister Patricia Shupe; daughters Deb Lautner and Jayne (Tom) Lewis, granddaughters Ashley Lautner and Sarah (Matt) Offringa; grandson Scott (Ya) Lewis. An added light in Sally's life were her great-grandchildren, Bryce, Brody, and Brenton Offringa, Aaliyah Lautner, and Donavon Rivett. The twins Hailey and Alexis Anderson are about to make her a great-great grandma this August and October.

Sally was an avid golfer, enjoying the sport with the many friends she made at Meadowlane Golf Course.

Sally was always entertaining. Quite often her golfing friends and family would stop by for a dip in the pool and great conversation. She picked up where her Mom left off, bringing the holiday family gathering into her home for many years, which will be fondly remembered by her beloved nieces and nephews.

Sally had a love for flowers which was displayed in her perennial garden and hanging baskets around the home.

Sally was never afraid to speak her mind-- If you wanted the truth, she was the person to go to, which is why she was the favorite among the nurses who cared for her.

A graveside Memorial Service will be celebrated by Pastor Bruce Wilson at 1:00 p.m. on Thursday, August 13, 2020, at Pine Hill Cemetery, 1102 52nd Street SE, Kentwood, MI 49508. Service Details. Memorial Service
