Ruth Louise (Stoel) Greene, age 88, of Jenison, MI went to be with her Lord on Wednesday, April 9, 2025.
Ruth was born November 24, 1936, to Willard and Virginia Stoel in Grandville MI. After attending Alma College, she and Carl married and returned to Grandville to raise their girls. Ruth worked as a secretary at Wyoming Presbyterian Church and Rhodes, McKee and Boer before she and Carl retired to Canadian Lakes in 1995. They loved their Canadian Lakes community. They each participated in many golf leagues in the warmer months and enjoyed winter travel to Las Vegas and the western US.
Ruth is survived by her daughter Cathy (Paul) Coury, son-in-law Jim Prior, grandsons Spencer, Gabriel, and Nicholas Coury, Seth, Aiden and Noah Prior. She was preceded in death by her parents, husband Carl, and daughter Heidi Prior.
Ruth's family wishes to express their gratitude to Sunset Manor and Corewell Health Hospice for their compassionate, loving care of Ruth throughout her last years.
