Ruth Dryer, nee Hunt, 73, passed away on August 11th at Trillium Woods of Faith Hospice. Ruth was preceded in death by her loving spouse Robert and brother-in-law Larry. She is survived by her son Mike (Paula) Dryer and daughter Marcia (Tyson) Keane; grandchildren, Amber (Randy) Frey, Markie Dryer, Spencer Keane, and Kelcie Keane; sisters-in-law, Karen (Carl) Shook, and Sharon Dryer, nieces, Darci (Brian) Lapekes and Dana (Brad) Clarke. Ruth and Bob enjoyed many years together traveling the country for Bob's bowling tournaments. Ruth loved to play cribbage and spend time gardening. She was a member of Knights of St Casimir Aid Society (6th Street Hall). She retired from The Grand Rapids Press after over 25 years of service. She was a loving mother and devoted grandmother who will be missed. In lieu of flowers, memorials are suggested to Trillium Woods Faith Hospice or The Humane Society of West Michigan. Funeral service will be held at 6:00 PM, Thursday, August 13th at Ofield Funeral Home 4500 Kalamazoo Ave, Kentwood with visitation one hour prior to the service.
