Russell Veldkamp, Age 63, of Gun Lake MI passed away peacefully in his home 05/09/2022 surrounded by those he loved. Russ was born 10/06/1958 to Rose and Bert Veldkamp in Grand Rapids, MI who both preceded him in death. Russ was a friend to many with a warm smile and an infectious laugh that could cheer up your day. He was a caring man who would give his shirt off his back to help a stranger in need. He was a member of the Gun Lake Boating community for 30 years and his presence will be deeply missed by all who knew him.

He leaves behind his beloved wife Roxanne, brother Ken (Jane), three children: Jennette (Joe) Gunderson, Chad (Alecia) Veldkamp, and Brittany Veldkamp. Stepdaughters: Merisa Johnson and Lisa Page. Nine Loving grandchildren: Adalaye Gunderson, Knox Gunderson, Jagar Veldkamp, Nixon Veldkamp, Brianna (Tucker) Lorback, Kenedie Johnson, Levi Johnson, Kalub Christman, and Heaven Page.
