Russell Lee Reams of Grand Rapids, MI, age 86, went to be with his Lord and Savior on Thursday, February 25, 2021. He was born to Charles and Marvel (Johnson) Reams on June 16, 1934, in Portland, MI.

Russell served his country for two years in the Army before marrying his bride Patricia of 64 years. He was a loving and dedicated family man. Russell worked many years at Steelcase as an Industrial Engineer and retired in 1994. He enjoyed sports and coaching his children with his biggest love being golf. He scored two hole-in-one's enjoying his favorite pastime!

Russell is survived by his beloved wife Patricia, loving children Kim (Del) Waterhouse, Kevin (Kris) Reams, Kelley Darin and Russell Allen Reams. He was preceded in death by his parents, sister and brother- in-law, Miriam and Howard Reyff, brother in law Richard (Sandy) Worpel, brother in law James (Jeanne) Stephens, brother in law Charles (Sally) Stephens and son Christopher (Barb) Reams. He is survived by 11 grandchildren, Tricia (Kris) Vanderlaan, Ashley Reams, Erika (Scott) Keigley, Brandon Reams, Brittany Darin, Benjamin Waterhouse, Gabrielle (Nick) Hopkins, Samantha Darin, Tony Darin, Olivia Reams and Hannah Reams. Russell is also Great Grandfather to seven great grandchildren. He also leaves behind cherished family and friends.

The Mass of Christian Burial for Russell will be celebrated by Reverend Ayub Nasar on Saturday, March 6, 2021, at 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Catholic Church, 15164 Juniper Drive, Marne, MI 49435. Burial Interment to follow immediately after Mass. There will also be a one-hour visitation prior to the funeral from 10:00 until 11:00 a.m. at Saint Mary's Church.
