Roy Arthur Carlson, born on April 7, 1938, in Iron River, Michigan, passed away peacefully at his home in Plainwell, Michigan, on March 26, 2025, at the age of 86.

Roy is survived by his beloved wife, Margie (Harkins) Carlson; his daughters, Susan (David) Barrows and Janet (Jim) Pearson; and his brother, Herb Carlson of Seaford, Virginia. He was a proud grandfather to Michael Barrows (Emma Robertson) and Miranda Pearson (Zach Maddox) and a cherished great-grandfather to Leo, Milo, and Roy.

After a dedicated career with AT&T, Roy retired in 1995. For many years he was an active member of the Plainwell Pilot's Association, reflecting his passion for aviation. Above all else, he found great joy in the company of his loved ones.

Roy's memory will live on in the hearts of those who knew him.
