Rose Sotelo of Grand Rapids, Michigan, age 65 went to be with our Lord on Wednesday, August 25, 2021. She was born to Juan Ramirez and Margareta (Rocha) Guerrero on July 8, 1956 in Lakeview, MI.

Rose was born the youngest of five children. She was a graduate of Godfrey-Lee Public Schools. Rose worked for many companies as a seamstress for many, many years. Rose was married to Raul Sotelo for 47 years (and married each other three times).

Rose loved to do many things, especially spend time with family and going to celebrations. In her free time, Rose would enjoy making jewelry, doing bead-work, sewing, scrapbooking, puzzles, and spending time with family. She had a love for Sprite, blueberries, sunflowers, sunshine yellow anything, family gatherings, picking cherries, and being a daycare provider for many of her grandchildren.

Rose is survived by her beloved husband Raul Sotelo, loving children Heather (Trinidad) Rodriguez, EJ (Stacy) Bergman, Jennifer Sotelo; Renae (Yovany) Tellez; loving parents Margareta (J. Marcos) Guerrero; two loving sisters; 15 grandchildren; and 6 great-grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her son Raul A Sotelo Jr, and two siblings. Our family would like to thank our nurses from Hospice of Michigan, our Physicians from University of Michigan and most of all our family and friends for their support during this difficult time.

The mass of Christian burial will be celebrated at 11:00am on Wednesday, September 8th, 2021at Holy Name of Jesus Parish, 1048 Chicago Dr. SW, Wyoming MI 49509 with Fr. Stephen Dudek as celebrant. Interment will take place at Chapel Hill Memorial Gardens.
