Rose Ellen Kerns, 86, of Grand Rapids, Michigan, passed away June 14, 2023, peacefully in her home.

Rose was proceeded in death by her parents, Jesse & Anne (Veldt) McBride, her sisters Mary & Betty, her brothers Robert & John, and her grandsons James & Jordan.

She is survived by her sisters Susan & Beverly, her brother Richard and his wife Pat and sister-in-law Janet.

Rose is also survived by her children, David, Marshelle (Steve), Rosemarie (Dan), Janice (Bob), and Jeff (Michelle).  She will be remembered by her numerous grandchildren, great-grandchildren and great-great grandchildren.

Rose was born in Allegan, Michigan and raised her family in Grand Rapids, Michigan.

While raising her family, she worked at Corduroy Rubber Company and took night classes to further her career.  She retired from Paulstra Hutchinson as VP of Operations.

She loved cooking, puzzles, reading, and watching sports.

A private service is being held.
