Ronald Plotner age 79, died peacefully in his Howard City home on March 9th, 2020 surrounded by his family. Ron was also named Captain Midnight by his loving wife of 32 years, Jo Ellen. He was humble and loved to be the center of attention. He was a devoted family man. Ron was born 1940 to Elizabeth and Richard in the town of Lansing, Mi. He married to Jo Ellen in 1988 in Nashville, TN on a 2-week camping adventure. He proudly served in the US Army at the age of 17, from 1958-1962. After the Army he worked many years as a maintenance man and a truck driver. When Ron retired, he enjoyed traveling, helping his son on the farm and spending time with his family. He is proceeded by death of his father, Richard Plotner, Mother, Elizabeth (Bowland) Plotner and sister Connie Kresnak. His beautiful life will always be cherished in the lives of his children. Julie Green, Keith (Pam) Plotner, Jamie Green, Rhonda (Scott) Vanderstelt, John (Heather) Green, Jason (Jennifer) Plotner, 17 Grandchildren and 9 Great Grandchildren and a host of nieces, nephews and friends.
