IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Ronald
Lindberg
February 5, 1939 – February 11, 2025
Ronald Charles Lindberg, 86, of Grand Rapids, Michigan passed into the arms of Jesus on February 11, 2025 surrounded by his family, after a long battle with Parkinson's disease.
Ronald was born to Gustav and Aune Lindberg on February 5, 1939 in Detroit, Michigan. He grew up in Detroit and graduated from Cooley High School in 1957 and then went on to receive his BS in Mechanical Engineering and an MBA from Wayne State University. This is also where he met his wife, Janet. They were married in 1963.
He is survived by his devoted wife, Janet, of 61 years, his son Craig (Michele), his son Kurt (Kendra), his daughter, Kathy, and 6 grandchildren: Kelsey (Kyle), Kristin (Gage), Kyle (Kassadee), Erika (Ian), Mia, and Ryan and 5
great-grandchildren. He is also survived by his brother, Dick (Carole) and sister Carol (Paul). Ronald is preceded in death by his parents, Gustav and Aune and his brother Russell.
Ronald was active in the church, serving as Sunday School Superintendent, a leader of small groups, and singing in the choir at Faith Covenant Church in Farmington Hills, MI. He had a servant heart and an unwavering faith in God. He believed in the power of prayer and the importance of family. We are grateful that he provided his children and grandchildren with a godly heritage, as he served the Lord so faithfully in his daily living. Ron's sound advice and warm hugs will be remembered and cherished by all who knew and loved him. He was a man of grace and integrity with a peaceful spirit that often put those around him at ease.
"I have fought the good fight, I have finished the race, I have kept the faith." 2 Timothy 4:7
