Ronald Ensing of Grand Rapids passed away May 22, 2019, after an illness. He was 83. Ron was preceded in death by his wife, Helen Ensing. He is survived by his children, Mike and Peg Ensing, Jim and Melissa Ensing, Todd and Sue Ensing, and Cliff Ensing; grandchildren, Chris and Sierra Ensing, Missy and Nick Prill, Eric Ensing, Nathan Ensing and Hannah Ensing; four great grandchildren; and his sister, Shirley Jones. Ron was born May 9, 1936, to Raymond and Catherine Ensing and graduated from Grand Rapids Christian High School. He spent most of his life in the sales profession. He was a past president of a local Kiwanis International club and was also active with the Calvinist Cadets Corps. He most recently was a member of Fuller Avenue Christian Reformed Church. Ron loved the outdoors and enjoyed hunting, especially on his land in northern Michigan. A visitation and memorial service will be held Tuesday, May 28 at Fuller Avenue Christian Reformed Church, 1239 Fuller Ave. SE. Visitation will be from 5-7 p.m. with the service following at 7 p.m. Those planning an expression of sympathy are asked to consider the charity of their choice.
