Ronald A. DeKruif age 87 passed away peacefully on December 30th, 2018. Surviving is his wife of 67 years, Marilyn; daughters: Debi (John) Young, Karen (Ike) Wells; grandchildren: Matt (Beth) Young, Molly (Bryan) Boeve, Meredith (Alex) Sedelbauer, Adam (Marilee) Wells, BJ (Lindsey) Wells; great-grandchildren: Ellie, Evan, Maddox Young, Brooklyn, Luke Boeve, Crew Sedelbauer, Macey & AJ Wells; and his sister, Loretta Shively. Ronald was a graduate from South High School in 1950. He proudly served in the Air Force during the Korean War. He was a member of Greenridge Country Club and Egypt Valley Country Club as well a life-time member of First Congregational Church in Rockford, Michigan. A Celebration of Life will be held on January 11, 2019 at 11:00 AM at First Congregational Church of Rockford (192 E. Bridge St. NE, Rockford, Michigan, 49341). Visitation will begin at 10:00 AM. In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hospice of Michigan or First Congregational Church of Rockford Michigan.
