Ronald Henry Baar of Jenison, Michigan, age 85, passed away June 2, 2021. He was born to Jacob and Theressa Baar on December 15, 1935, in Grand Rapids, Michigan.
He was married to Muriel ( Murt) Ter Veen) Baar.
Ron loved to travel, full time RVing for 17 years.
Ron and his wife Murt moved to Bellflower, California in 1966 lived there for 36 years. There he was a painting contractor.
Ron was survived by his beloved wife for 63 years, loving children, Cindy (Jim) Peterson, of State Road, North Carolina, Sherrie (Steve) Slagle of Oroville,California, six Grand Children and nine Great Grandchildren. A brother Jay (Ruth) Baar of Jenison, Michigan, Many nieces and nephews. Brother-in-laws Roger (Judy) Ter Veen and Larry (Pat)Ter Veen.
Ron was preceded in death by his son ,Ronald Lee, parents Jacob and Theressa Baar, son-in-law Steven Slagle, and three Great Grandbabies, Dyland, Steven Slagle, and Hope Humphrey, and brother-in-law Larry Ter Veen of Diamond Lake.
