Roger Douglas Workman, age 80, of Kent City, MI, passed away on June 5, 2025 peacefully at his home.

Roger was born on June 15, 1944 in Grand Rapids, MI to Morrie Workman and Juanita Simpson. He was employed at Wolverine World Wide for over 40 years. He married Karen Ann Dennis on August 24, 1963.

He is survived by his loving wife, Karen Workman, daughter Kristy (Pat) Cook, son-in-law Mike Baehre, grandsons Raleigh (Kala) Baehre and Ross Baehre, and brother Neil Workman.

Preceding him in death were daughter Kimberly Workman Baehre, parents Morrie Workman and Juanita Simpson, in-laws Allen and Gladys Dennis, and brother Ron Workman.

Roger had a great passion for the outdoors, taking great joy in deer hunting with his family and friends, as well as farming and spending time working in his garden. He loved riding around on golf carts, ATVs, and any other vehicle which allowed him to explore the outdoors.

The family welcomes friends and family to attend a celebration of life in Roger's honor at his home (384 Sherman Blvd Kent City, MI 49330) on June 14, 2025 from 2:00pm-5:00pm.
