December 9, 2014 Service: December 12, 2014 WELLS - Roger Allen Wells, aged 54 of Grand Rapids passed away on Tuesday December 9, 2014. Roger was born on July 22, 1960 to Robert and Doris Wells. He is survived by his loving wife of 28 years, Catherine (Monty) Wells; sons, Nicholas and Alexander; sister, Debi (Bill) Whitman; brother, Denny (Val) Wells; sister-in-law, Patty (Denny) Jones; brother-in-law, James (Kris) Monty; nephews and nieces, Josh, Jake, Chelsea, Austin, Wade, Amber, Micayla; father-in-law, George (Ova) Monty. He was preceded in death by his mother-in-law Linda Monty and loved grandparents. Roger was a loving husband and father. Roger was heavily involved with Kentwood AYSO as a referee and board member; Knights of Columbus # 4362, as a 4th degree member and a very active member of his church, St. Mary Magdalen, for 24 years. Mass of Christian Burial will be held 11:00 am Friday, December 12, 2014 at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1213 52nd St. SE. Visitation will be held Thursday from 5:00 pm to 9:00 pm with a Rosary 8:00 pm at Ofield Funeral Home, 4500 Kalamazoo Ave., SE, and also 1 hour prior to the service at church.
