Terpstra, Rodney 2/9/1961 - 10/30/2020 Rockford Rod (Butch) Terpstra Age 59 Rockford, MI Passed away on Friday, October 30th after a 6 year battle with cancer. Rod passed peacefully at home with his family, surrounded with comfort and love. Preceded in death by his Daugher Tarah, Father Leonard and Mother Harriet. Survived by his Wife Barb of over 40 years, Children Trevor and Taylor Terpstra, Sister Betty (Leggett) and Bobbie Jo (Edgington). Brothers Jack and Larry Terpstra and several nieces and nephews. The family is planning a Celebration of Rod's Amazing Life in the spring of 2021. Donations in Rod's name can be made to Bethany Christian Services. Rod had a huge heart for giving to others in need. He had a passion for Foster Care and was always thrilled to do his annual Christmas shopping for area Foster Children.
