Robert (Bob) James Westra Bob Westra was received into heaven to meet his Lord and join his loving wife of 62 years, Jeanne on Thursday February 4, 2016. Bob was born to Henry and Henrietta Westra on January 9, 1925. After serving in the U. S. Army during WWII, Bob married Jeanne and together they raised 5 children. In retirement Bob and Jeanne enjoyed traveling the U.S. in their RV. Bob was preceded in death by Jeanne and is survived by his children Robert (Robin ) Westra, Henry (Carolyn) Westra, Patricia (Paul) Wiers, Charles (Kay) Westra and Marikay Dobbins, brothers Richard and Donald Westra, grandchildren, great-grandchildren and numerous nieces and nephews. Cremation has taken place, interment will be at Fort Custer in Battle Creek, MI. A memorial service will take place at a later date.
