Robert Wesley Traxler was born in Grand Haven, Michigan, November 6, 1958, to Raymond and Loretta Traxler, the youngest of five children. His father worked at Bastian Blessing, just down the street from the large, late 1880s, home where Bob grew up.

Bob would marry Bev Miller in 1981.

Devoted to family and always willing to help a friend or stranger. A man of wit and humor, strong resolve and honest character.

Extremely knowledgeable, intelligent and talented, with the skills to fix, build or create and folks often went to him for help or advice.

Found often in the garage, working on a project, often another Harley, a passion of his.

He enjoyed the outdoors, motorcycles, fishing, gardening, camping, and his greatest passion, deer hunting.

Bob is survived by his wife Bev, children Amanda Lazarus and Cory Traxler, four grandchildren, Nicole, Gunnar, Remy and Cooper and one great-grandson Jonah. Also, two brothers, Earl Rex Traxler of Kalkaska and Ronald Traxler of Manton.

Burial will take place at Nunica Cemetery.
