IN LOVING MEMORY OF
Robert Lee
Pummel
June 5, 1965 – November 20, 2021
Jr Pummel, Robert Lee "Bobby" (06/05/1965-11/20/2021), age 56 of Plainwell, MI earned his angel wings and joined the Lord on the evening of Saturday, November 20th, 2021, after a short battle with Covid-19 virus. Bobby is preceded in death by his beloved mother Sandra Pummel. He is survived by his father, Robert Pummel Sr; Sisters Kim Pummel, Tammie Shuster; Nieces Shanda Frederick, Ciara (Scott) MacDonald, Olivia Shuster; Nephew, Staff Sargent Jacob Shuster of the USAF. He also had the privilege of being a Great uncle to Cameron, Amya, Andre, Lily, Amelia, and Dominic. Bobby was born in Grand Rapids, Mi and received a diploma through Kent Occupational high school. He worked several service-oriented jobs throughout the years and was always willing to help however he could. He took care of his mother through the last years of her life and was a constant companion to his sister Kim after their mother's passing in 2013. He was all the nieces/nephew's favorite playmate. He was the life of the party, always smiling and full of energy. He was happiest surrounded by those he loved. He enjoyed collecting trains and building railroads, country music-Alabama was his all time favorite, singing karaoke, taking casino trips, poker playing, theme parks and shooting hoops. He was a great bowler and participated in many leagues. He loved the holidays especially Christmas where he always helped with all the decorations and handed out the coins from his pockets to scratch our lottery tickets. He endured a lot in his 56 years while working through a mental handicap and even when the world was not the kindest to him, he kept a zest for life and remained strong and positive. Words cannot explain what heaven has gained when Bobby left this world. There is so much that people could learn from him. He was a good soul with a pure innocent heart, unconditional love for others and the prettiest blue eyes. The world could use more like Bobby. Rest easy, until we are all joined again. A celebration of Bobby's life will take place (time to be determined) where we can enjoy his favorite foods and music. Feel free to leave any special memories you have of him to share with the family.
