Robert Edward Pearce, aged 88, of Wyoming, passed peacefully into eternity after a long and difficult battle with dementia.  Born to Vernon and Angeline Pearce, Bob was predeceased by his parents, as well as all of his siblings and their spouses.

Bob proudly served his country in the Army, stationed in France, prior to marrying Sharon Lamoreaux, to whom he was married for 67 years. Together they built a family who will remember and miss him. Bob is survived by his wife, Sharon; son,Tim Pearce; daughter, Nickie (Tom) Swanson; and daughter-in-law, Jan Pearce. He is cheered on from Heaven by his eldest son, Ron Pearce, Sr. and his eldest daughter, Laura Beerens. Bob also reluctantly leaves behind many grandchildren (in order of appearance into the family): Jennie (Mac)  Hernandez, Ron (Bri) Pearce Jr., Mike Beerens, Ashley (Jerrod) Mindykowski, Heather Pearce, Tyler (Shyanna) Pearce, Rick Six, Cody (Emily) Swanson, Lexi (Matt) Swanson Ackerberg, Julie (Elliot) Richmond, and Joanna (Chad) Schlientz. Bob also leaves behind seventeen great-grandchildren, seven great-great-grandchildren, and friends and extended family too numerous to list.

Bob had a tremendous sense of mischief and was known to be the life of the party. He was always first in line to help when anyone needed a hand, and was also the quickest to hold any baby born in the family. His famous "secret step" will be missed at family weddings, as will his presence at "deer camp." An avid sportsman, he is now enjoying a body free of pain and disease.  Goodbye for now, until that future time in Revelation 21, where God will wipe away every tear and there will be no more death, or mourning, or crying, or pain.

A special thanks to the extraordinary care team at Cortland Northview for making a loving home for Dad these last months.  Per Bob's wishes, cremation has taken place.  A Celebration of Life will be held by the family at a later time.
