Robert (Bob) McCullough age 76 from Alamo, TX., previously from Grand Rapids MI, passed peacefully in his sleep at home in Grand Rapids, MI surrounded by his family and loved ones on Saturday May 18, 2019. Bob was born in Fort Wayne, Indiana to Roy and Beatrice McCullough. He proudly served in the US Navy from November 1960 to January 1964. He retired from Kent County Road Commission in December 2006 after 26 years of service. Bob was an avid hunter and member of the American Legion, Caledonia Post for many years. He married the former Karon Logan on May 17, 1978 in Las Vegas Nevada...and the adventure began. After retirement Bob and Karon became full time RV'ers and traveled to places they always wanted to see. Bob was preceded in death by his father, Roy McCullough, mother, Beatrice McCullough, sister Barbara Jones, nephew James McCullough. Bob is survived by his loving wife, Karon, brothers Jack McCullough, Gary (Mercy) McCullough, and Patrick McCullough, many nieces and nephews that he loved without question and many cousins, aunts and uncles. Graveside services will be held on Friday May 31, 2019, 11:30am at Blythefield Memorial Gardens (6200 Brewer Rd NE, Belmont) In lieu of flowers donations may be made to Faith Hospice of Grand Rapids, MI.
