Robert J. Cross, Jr., 72, of Grand Rapids, passed away Saturday, September 30, 2017 at home following a courageous battle with cancer. He is preceded in death by his father, Robert Cross Sr. and his mother, Virginia Cross. He is survived by, and will be lovingly remembered by, his wife, Judy Cross, of 45 years, sister Bonnie Mys, children; David (Jill) Cross, Shellie (Dan) Sutherlin, and Steven Cross, step-children: Don (Ann) Vidro, Laurie (Mike) Lee, Debbie (Ken) Spruit and several grandchildren and great-grandchildren. Robert worked as a printer for Oliver for 49 years. He really enjoyed the company he worked for as well as all of his co-workers. Robert was a veteran and served in the Navy. In keeping with the wishes of Bob, there will be no funeral services.
