Robert Jerry Birdsong, 79, of Wadley Al, died May 27, 2023 at Ely Manor Nursing & Rehabilitation Center in Allegan, MI. He was born February 22, 1944 to Arlina Phillips and Wylie Birdsong.

Jerry Birdsong worked as a logger most of his life. When he wasn't doing that he took pride in raising his farm animals and tending to his many gardens. He loved fresh vegetables.

In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by a daughter - Maria Staples, son - Stanley Birdsong,  brother - Lawrence Birdsong, sisters - Mary Hardnett, Louise Johnson, Virginia Heard, Beulah Patterson, Jean Turner and special friend Patricia Peterson. He is survived by son - Robert Birdsong(wife Debra Birdsong), step daughter - Pamela Johnson, son - Stacey Birdsong, son - Steven Birdsong, step daughter- Kennetha Battle, daughter- Latrice Colburn (husband Trey Colburn), son - Christopher Birdsong, daughter - Jerrica Noble (husband Liam Noble), grandchildren - Kelsey Staples, Kerry Staples, Kameron Staples, Stanley Birdsong, Tiffany Birdsong, Robert M. Birdsong, Kerrion Birdsong, Cailin Birdsong, Tory Birdsong, Aleeka Noble, Luna Noble, Koda Noble and more, as well as a host of nephews and nieces including Carolyn Ware, Phyllis Briskey, and Gail Finch.

We are going to have a Memorial Service for dad via zoom this Saturday, June 3rd @ 2:00 p.m. central time.
