Bobby Ballard, age 64, passed away at his apartment in Grand Rapids, MI. He was an accomplished musician and guitarist. Bobby entertained thousands around the world as a guitarist in the touring band for the famous pop and country singer, Brenda Lee. He resided in the Nashville, TN area for many years where he was happiest while searching for Indian arrowheads in the creek-beds outside of town. He was preceded in death by his parents, Robert L and Kathleen J Ballard and brother, Patrick. He is survived by his son, Robert Hayden Ballard-Warner, and granddaughter, Ava Warner, of Bedford, TX; a daughter, Hanna Larson of Dallas, TX and former spouses Patricia Guyot-Warner and Alyce Wherry. He is also survived by 6 brothers and 2 sisters. Larry Ballard of Daytona Beach, Fl; Martin Ballard (Plern) of Chiang Mai, Thailand; Paul Ballard (Colette Lewis) of Kalamazoo, MI; Kathleen Ballard of Glenwood Springs, CO; Anne Ballard of Gaithersburg, MD; Michael Ballard (Susan) of Grand Rapids, MI; Richard Ballard (Gloria) of Carson City, NV and Christopher Ballard of Redding, CA along with 12 nieces & nephews. A celebration of his life will be held at Charlie's Bar & Grille in Grand Rapids from 2:00pm to 6:00pm on Sunday, June 23.
