Ricky Ray Lemons passed away peacefully at his home on Sunday December 23, 2018 at the age of 62. He was born January 19,1956 in Grand Rapids,MI. He was preceded in death by his father, Marcelino Lemons, mother Charlotte Lemons, sister Tina, and brother Mikey. He is survived by his loving wife, Julie Lemons, 5 daughters: Melanie, Carla, Amber, Autumn, and Aubrey; brothers: Robin Lemons, Alan Lemons (Pam), and Renardo Lemons; sisters: Kelly Lemons, and Elizabeth Lemons and 9 grandchildren. Rick loved his family and enjoyed big backyard cookouts. He loved to fish, play horseshoes and was an avid Detroit Lions and Tigers fan. Rick was very creative and enjoyed working with wood, sketching and painting. Visitation and Memorial will be held at New Hope Community Church (6175 Northland Dr NE, Rockford, MI 49341) on Saturday January 5th from 2-4 pm. Visitation will be from 2-3 pm with Memorial Service from 3-4 pm Donuts and Coffee (Rick's favorite) will follow the service.
