Rick Daniel McQueen, 62 of Ionia, Michigan went to be with the Lord on Saturday, November 6th, 2021 surrounded by family.

Rick was born on September 7th, 1959 in Mishawaka, Indiana to Roderick and Edith (Styles) McQueen. He was a 1978 graduate of Penn High School in Mishawaka, Indiana.

Rick is preceded in death by his parents and brother Roderick.

He is survived by his sister's Pamela Pontius and Kate Kretchmer (Jack), nieces Mandy Johnson, Jamie Schafer (Darren), Samantha Montague (Craig), and nephew Douglas Thursby (Krista), 13 great nephews and nieces, 1 great great nephew.

Rick had a great love for animals. Preceding him is his dog, Rosie, cat, Zazoo and survived by his cat, Tippi.

Rick served in the Marines Corps Reserves in South Bend, Indiana from 1980-1986.

Rick retired from Homan Lumber Company in Elkhart, Indiana.
