Richard James Semashko, Age 67, of Grand Rapids, Michigan went to be with his Lord on March 15, 2024, after a long battle with Alzheimer's. Rick encountered many earthly angels along his journey. He was blessed with the love and care of his family, caregivers at Fountain View of Lowell, and The West Michigan Hospice staff.

Rick was preceded in death by his mother Gladys, father Pete, brother Peter, grandparents, and several aunts and uncles. He is survived by his son James (Ricky), sisters Fran (Michael) Hollern, Deb (Tom) Greenhoe, sister in-law Lori Semashko, and several nieces and nephews.

Mass of Christian Burial will be on Friday, April 12th at 12:00 pm at St. Paul the Apostle, 2750 Burton Street SE, Grand Rapids, MI. Rick will be laid to rest at Resurrection Cemetery immediately following.
