Richard Douglas "Rick" Murray, aged 65, passed away peacefully on May 27, 2025, in Comstock Park, Michigan. Born on October 28, 1959, in Harlingen, Texas.

Rick is survived by his beloved wife, Elizabeth "Annie" Thompson-Murray, their cherished dog Gizmo, his stepson Trevor (Trisha) Thompson. He was a proud step-grandfather to Chloe, Deegan, Owen, and Mason, and to their family dog, Lexi. Stepson Matthew Thompson. His sister Debbie Powers, niece Heather (Brad) Zahm, and their daughters, Olivia and Grace, along with his nephews Michael Thomas, and Brandon (Mirza) Murray, their daughter Madison, and their soon-to-arrive baby boy.

Rick was preceded in death by his parents, Douglas and Sandra Murray.

For many years, Rick was a mortgage originator with Old National Bank, where he maintained contact with lifelong friends and business partners. Rick was an integral part of his community, always ready to lend a hand or share a word of advice. He enjoyed golfing, bowling, boating, and fishing, each hobby providing him with cherished moments and stories to share.

Cremation has taken place for Rick, there will be a time of visitation from 12:00 PM - 1:00 PM with a memorial service at 1:00 PM on Wednesday June 4, 2025, with a luncheon to follow at Ada Bible Church, 3869 Knapp Ave. NE Grand Rapids, MI 49525.
