April 16, 2013 Prindiville - Richard W. Prindiville age 82, of Grand Rapids, went home to be with his Lord and Savior, Tuesday, April 16, 2013. He is survived and will be lovingly remembered by his devoted wife of nearly 58 years, Dorthea M. Prindiville; children, Daniel (Marilyn) Prindiville, David (Tracey) Prindiville and Kathleen (Tim) Lane; grandchildren, Jeffrey (Jaymie) Prindiville, Michelle (John) Huizenga, George and David Lane, Jennifer Prindiville and Jr. Kotrch; precious great granddaughters, Avery and Marie Huizenga and Carter Prindiville; brothers, Dale (Mary) Prindiville, John (Mary) Prindiville; Texas brothers-in-law and sisters-in-law and many loving nieces, nephews and friends. Richard was preceded in death by an infant granddaughter, his parents and sister. Richard proudly served as a pilot in the U.S. Air Force, retiring as a Captain. He worked for Lear Siegler and retired from Smith Industries as a Contract Administrator. Family meant everything to Richard and his grandchildren were very special to him. He spent many wonderful summers at their cottage boating, skiing and fishing. He spent his retirement winters in Texas and Florida enjoying the bright sunshine. He will be dearly missed. On Friday, April 19, 2013 at St. Roberts Newminster, 6477 Ada Dr., a Memorial Mass will be held at 11:00 a.m., with visitation for family and friends one hour prior to the service. In lieu of flowers, memorial contributions may be made to the Fred and Lena Meijer Heart Center.
