Richard J. Michalik 1/27/1934 - 10/09/2016 Richard passed away peacefully in his sleep. He is survived by his wife Mary Anne of 61 yrs., four children: David (Lucy) Michalik, Denise, Doreen (Alex) Marcinek, and Deanna (Daniel) Hedges, seven grandchildren: Natalie (Tom) Kinczkowski, Nick Michalik, Emily, Katherine and Alex Jr. Marcinek, and Abigail and Maxwell Hedges, first great-granddaughter Kennedy Kinczkowski . Also surviving is his brother Edwin and two sisters, Janet Both and Elaine Stack and nieces and nephews. Richard worked for CIGNA 39 years prior to his retiring in 1996. Richard enjoyed his time with family, especially his grandchildren, boating, hockey and traveling extensively. Richard enjoyed life. Memorial mass to celebrate his life will be held at 10:30 AM, November 26, 2016 at St. Sebastian Catholic Church, 9408 Wilson Ave. SW, Byron Center, MI 49315.
