On Wednesday, December 2, 2020, Richard (Rick) Elmer Malek, loving husband and father, passed away at age 58.
Rick was born on April 15, 1962 in Grand Rapid, MI to Elmer and Irene (Sowinski) Malek. On , July 24,1997 he married the love of his life Antionette (Toni) Parney Malek. They raised a son Chad Howe, and their grandchildren, Aron and Diane Howe.

Rick enjoyed bowling and camping. He also loved his animals Buddy and Ike to name a few. He had a smile for everyone and would help out anyone.

Rick was preceded in death by his father, Elmer, and his father-in-law, Carl Parney. He is survived by his mother Irene Malek, wife Toni, his son, Chad (Jodi) Howe, grandchildren Aron and Diane Howe, great grandchild Rosabell, brothers Bob (Kathy) Malek and Russell (Jennifer) Malek, and sister Cathy (Doug) Bigelow.

At the request of the deceased Rick will be cremated and his ashes will be spread at a place of his choosing by his family at a later date. Donations may be sent to the American Cancer Society.
