Richard "Dick" P. Hoffman, 85, of Sister Lakes, passed away Saturday, October 2, 2021.

Richard was born June 5, 1936, in Gary, IN, to Harvey and Irene (Mee) Hoffman. He graduated from high school in 1954 and served Honorably in the Marines, where he acheived the rank of Sergeant. On May 1, 1971, he married the love of his life, Helene Serafin, at Mother of God Church in Burnham, IL. He worked at Omni 41 for 28 years before his retirement. In his spare time, he enjoyed fishing and the Cubs. Most of all he loved his family and will be greatly missed by all who knew him.

Richard is survived by his children, Tracy (David) Vogel and Kurt Hoffman; grandchildren, Jack, Mark and Abigail; and numerous neices and nephews. He was preceded in death by his loving wife, Helene; his parents, Irene and Harvey Hoffman; and sibling, John Hoffman.

Private interment service will be held at Fort Custer National Cemetery on November 26, 2021.
