Richard Joseph Herblet, age 86, of Kentwood, passed away September 28, 2016. He will be lovingly missed by his wife Constance and daughters; Elaine (Dave) Szarowicz, of Grand Rapids, MI, Jonna (Rob) Gionet, of Ontario, Canada, Bethany (Garland) Dahlke, of Ames, IA, and Nichole (Dan) Swiger of Nashville, TN; sisters, Ann Hoffman and Judith Herblet, 8 grandchildren, and one great-granddaughter. Richard was an avid hunter and enjoyed many trips with his brothers and uncles. He also loved sports, especially baseball. Richard served in the Navy for four years before becoming a Highway Technician for the State of Michigan at MDOT where he worked for 31 years. A Memorial Service will be held Monday, October 3 at 11:00 am at St. Mary Magdalen Church, 1295 52nd St. SE, Kentwood, with a visitation one hour prior to the service.
