Richard Frederick Hahn Sr

Richard died unexpectedly but peacefully at home on Friday, October 22, 2021.

Born in St. Clair. Michigan, on August 10, 1938 to Fred and Ruth Hahn (Ganss), and one sister Doris McHenney who are predeceased.

He is survived by his wife of 64 years, Nancy Hahn (Friar), 3 children Cindy (Mike) McCarthy, Denise Julien, Richard Jr, and son-in-law Jeffery Fein. In addition, Richard is survived by 5 grandchildren, 11 great-grandchildren, and 1 great-great grandchild. Richard graduated from Cooly High School (Detroit, Michigan) in 1956, and served 8 years in the Michigan National Guard.

Richard retired from Westinghouse/Knoll Group in 2000, enjoyed boating and wood crafting, and was actively involved in his son's Cub and Boy Scout troops. He was also a 32nd degree Mason and Shriner.

A private service for immediate family will be held at Ofield Funeral Home, with a burial to follow at Pine Hill Cemetery. Service Details.
