Lee, born October 9, 1935, to the late Orval and Iva Forgar passed away quietly on January 29th, 2024 at his home. Lee grew up in the Lakeview/Six Lakes  area and graduated from Lakeview High School in 1954. He retired from the Grand Rapids Post Office and he loved to golf.

Surviving him are his wife of 39 years, Joanne (Keeney) Forgar, and five step daughters Kristy Spencer (Bob), Wendy Crow (Steve), Nancy Ann Schutts, Amy Gwinn (Tony), and Nancy Manett (tom), 8 grandchildren Tiffany DeVries (Jon), Caleb Woodwyk (Shayna), Aubrey Czapek (Matt), Haley, Hannah, Zachary and Nicholas Gwinn and Michael Nanett. Also surviving are several great grandchildren and two sisters Clarissa Tonkin (John) and Dema Gerencer and brother Jack Forgar a sister Barbara and brother R. Charles Forgar (Barbara) are deceased.

At his request Lee was cremated and a family Celebration of Life will be held at a later date.
