Richard Lee Collins (Mays) age 74,of Niles, Michigan (formerly of Smyrna,Mi), passed away, August 8, 2019 at Butterworth Hospital. He was the son of John Joe and Maxine (Herron) Mays. He was the proud father of Rich Welch and grandfather of Mason. He was preceded in death by his parents and brother,Greg Mays.He is survived by his son,grandson, his sisters,Teri Youmans, Tanna Garcia and Jody Glenn,his brothers, Jim(Kathy) Mays and Bill(Gail) Collins, his nieces Melissa Rios,Tracy(James Thomason)Youmans, Rusty Mays and Cathy formerly Collins,and nephews Mondo Ledezma, Chris and Bill Collins, JIm, Don and Joey Mays. and several great nieces and nephews. The family would like to thank special friends Rashena and Flossi for all they did for him over the years. There will be a graveside service on August 23,2019 at 1:00 PM at Smyrna Cemetery.
